Learning can be fun! My son Dylan learns so much when he’s engaged in an activity that he enjoys – and what does he enjoy most? Playing and having fun.
There’s a whole world of games and activities that score high on the play and fun scale, and result in some great learning experiences, too. As a parent, I’m always on the lookout for ways that my son can learn by having fun and through play, and here at Learn Play Fun, I share these resources with you.
Enriching your child’s education through fun and play doesn’t have to be costly, either; many online resources are free, libraries carry a rich variety of engaging books, and there are a ton of learning games that parents can make themselves using household items and things found at the local dollar or discount store. I love creating games from scratch, and when I find and make one that Dylan loves which also teaches him something, it’s very exciting!
So join us on our journey as we explore different experiences and activities – and remember: fun and play aren’t just for kids. I’ll also feature activities and books that will help re-awaken and support your own sense of fun, play and creativity!
